Description
The structure of GYTC8A optical cable is to sheath 250µm optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforced core, and the loose tube (and filler rope) is twisted around the central reinforced core to form a compact and circular cable core. After the cable core is longitudinally wrapped with a layer of plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL), it is integrated with the steel wire strands into a figure-eight polyethylene sheath.
Features
1. The steel wire strand has extremely high tensile strength, which is convenient for self-supporting overhead laying and reduces installation costs
2. Optical cable has good mechanical properties and temperature characteristics
3. The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength
4. The tube is filled with special grease to protect the optical fiber critically
5. Use the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable:
- Single steel wire center reinforcement core
- Loose tube filled with special waterproof compound
- Complete cable core filling
- Plastic coated aluminum tape (APL) moisture-proof layer
